BooBoo's and bandaid's

Nothing breaks your heart more than seeing your kid's bleeding and hurt. Last night Jaxon was playing around, and running with his drum when he tripped and fell onto the drum. He cut his gum's and his lip. It was so sad. He just popped up and started crying. I wanted so bad to cry with him, but knew I had to be strong for him. I was just holding him telling him it was going to be ok, and then I went to look at it and give it a kiss and saw that he was bleeding a lot. I was so afraid he was going to have a loose tooth or something bad. The poor guy had big ol' blood spots on his shirt. The good thing about kids is that they bounce right back. I gave him a kiss and he was good as new. He has a little bit of a fat lip, but it looks cute on him. The sad part is that, there will be many more boo boos to come.

Cousins

When Jace takes his afternoon nap I just stick him in the pack~n~play in our room. I am to scared to put him in his crib when Jaxon is sleeping too, I don't want them to wake each other up. Anyway's, sometimes when I am not paying attention Jaxon will climb into the pack~n~play and wake up Jace. On this day, I was doing my aunt's hair, Allison and Owen came with her. So we stuck all three of them in it together. The only one missing is Cade. They had a good ol' time in there together, we even got a couple smiles out of Owen.

Babies of 2008

Those of you who don't get the Itemizer Observer, each year they do a babies of... issue. So here is the picture that I admited for the 2008 babies. If you do get the paper, look for him in the Feb. 25th issue.

Jump baby jump

I had been looking on Craigs list every day for a jumparoo, and came up empty handed every time. I was getting so frustrated because I didn't want to buy a new one. Beings we are done having kids I didn't think it would be worth it to have a new one and get rid of it in a few months. But my dear friend Desi asked me the other day if I was still looking for one. Turns out her mom had one that she was getting rid of. So my search was over. The best part was, I didn't even have to pay for it. Jace hasn't quite got the hang of it yet, but he enjoy's watching the lights and toy's on it. I can't wait for him to start jumping in it.

Jace is 4 months

Jace turned 4 months old on Feb 2nd. He is such a chunk!

NO PULL UP OR PANTS!!!!

Jaxon has always not liked to have his underwear and pants on, he is like his aunt Meggie when she was little. Jaxon also likes to fall asleep on the floor by his door and I go in and put him back in bed when he is asleep. Well last night when I went to put him back into bed I was welcomed by his pull up and his pj pants. I just stopped where I was and laughed to myself. So then I went to his bed and pulled back his covers and there he was, nothing on the bottom half. It was so funny. When I went to put them back on him he was so asleep he didn't even wake up. And once again I had to capture it so he can look back and remember all the silly things he did as a kid. Every day he keeps us laughing with what he will come up with. It sure makes it a lot easier to deal with him in his terrible two's when he adds a little humor to our day.

Molly

Last Christmas Jaxon got a stuffed dog named Molly. For the first year he would play with it a little bit. Then we left her at church and a few months later I found her. And now Jaxon can't sleep without her. She is his favorite stuffed animal. Every night when I tuck him into bed I ask him if he wants her and he softly says "yah" and he cuddles with her. It is the cutest thing ever. So one night when I went to check on him before I went to bed, he was cuddling with her so cute I just had to take a picture of them together. I am sure he will love to look back at the picture when he is older. HEHEH!
