Being a mom of two

IBefore I got pregnant with Jace, my friend Kalie shared some stories about how hard it is to have two kid's. So when I found out I was pregnant, I was so excited, but then in the next second, I was scared out of my mind. I thought "what am I going to do with two kids." Well life wasn't to bad with two kids until a month or so ago. Before Jace would just sleep and Jaxon could play with his mommy and daddy. But the older Jace is getting the harder and harder it is. Jace is demanding more of my time and so is Jaxon. Don't get me wrong, I still love being a mom of two wonderful boy's, but it is really really hard. As much as Jaxon loves his brother, he is starting to "hit the brother" as Jaxon likes to call it. The other day my dad was over and he was playing with Jaxon and then he said "let's go see Jace" well Jaxon didn't like that. He had on his rain boots and he kicked Jace in the head. My dad had to scold him. Poor Jaxon's heart was just broken. But he is getting jeallous of other people playing with Jace and not him. Jace likes to be heald, and Jaxon is wanting to play motor boat, duck-duck goose (goof ball as Jax calls it) and ring around the posey. It is a little hard to tend to both kids by yourself. Not to mention my husband works 2pm-10pm. So he isn't home most of the day and I am the one left to entertain the two of them. I am hoping that it will get easier after a while, because there are nights where I just want to pull my hair out. But anyway, I think this just ended up to be more of a vent session, but it got it off my chest.

Jax and his boots

For Jaxon's second birthday we got him some rain boots and a rain coat. At first he hated to wear the boots. They are to big, and he had a hard time walking in them. I would put them on him every day to get him used to wearing them and he would just plop on the floor because he couldn't walk in them. It was the funniest thing. But I was bound and determined to get him used to them, because I love it when little boy's wear their rain boots or cowboy boots everywhere. So after a little time, he got used to them and now he LOVES them. He was out side with Jay the other day and there was a mud puddle at the end of our driveway and he just started splashing in it. It was so cute.
